Sedimentation filter, 5 micron:

A 5 micron sedimentation filter that removes mechanical impurities, i.e. sediment. Sediment is a general term for all solid particles in water that are not liquid. For example, it is rust, coal dust, silt, clay or sand grains. For example, the aforementioned rust gets into the water from corroded, galvanised plumbing and ends up in our glasses without any qualms. 

DreamFilters 5-micron cartridge contains polypropylene foam with high filtration efficiency, with increased capacity compared to standard filters of this type. The sediment filter also limits the process of bacteria multiplication.

Filter with activated carbon from coconut shells: 

Activated carbon obtained from coconut shells. DreamFilters carbon filter captures contaminants in drinking water and effectively reduces the unpleasant taste and smell of chlorine. Moreover, it improves the colour of the water.

This material does not contain any chemicals, as it is activated by steam at a temperature of several hundred degrees C°.

The 1 micron sediment filter has a denser structure that removes mechanical impurities with even greater efficiency. The polypropylene foam filter also effectively retains activated carbon dust, which was created during the cartridge manufacturing process. The cartridge thus protects further system components and increases the life of the filtering machine.

Reverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis is the most important and most perfect part of filtration. Its task is to separate up to 99.9% of harmful substances from drinking water. Bacteria and viruses are larger than a water molecule, so nature has given us the chance to effectively regain this precious source. 

The holes in an osmotic membrane are approximately 0.0005 microns in size, with bacteria ranging from 0.2 to 1 micron and viruses from 0.02 micron to 0.4 micron).

The reverse osmosis membrane works on the principle of a sieve, which allows only pure water molecules to pass through, while the vast majority of other substances is effectively rejected into the sewage system. Thanks to this fascinating solution, we can be calm and enjoy pristine water. In short, we rid your water of up to 99.9% of such substances as pesticides, chemicals, heavy metals, microplastics, hormones and drug residues, not forgetting bacteria and viruses.

Water remineralisation

Water energising

UV sterilisation

The last step of the multi-stage filtration in DreamFilters systems (Aqua Barista and Aqua Business) is irradiating the water with UV-C.

This is an additional solution that effectively prevents the growth of bacterial flora in the purified water.

This method is used as a special kind of blockage against germs coming from outside, protecting against infecting the system. Disinfection by UV lamps does not affect the taste or mineral content of the water.
